In 1984, hair stylist Laura O'Neal was new on the industry scene, and began her career at our shop's current location (then named 'Tiger's Den Salon') at 1321 Main Street in Reading, MA. Ambitious and talented, by 1990 she had purchased the salon from the first owner, and continued growing her clientle and the business. After over a decade of solopreneuership, O'Neal partnered with hair stylist Michael Crane in 1997 who brought a fresh new perspective and innovative insight into the salon. Together they renamned the venture 'Salon Laura Michaels' in honor of their new partnership.
The partnership of O'Neal and Crane at Salon Laura Michaels is a reflection of their commitment to continuously offer guests exceptional hair care in an upscale yet traditional atmoshpere. With the support of their charismatic, professional, and talented team, the salon has been a proud leader of cutting, coloring, and styling in the area for over four decades.
